Bob Gothard was not only the best photographer that we could possibly have had for our wedding, but also an absolute expert under a crisis situation. Hurricane Ivan hit our wedding day unexpectedly, forcing a total change of location. Bob adapted immediately, and our pictures look as if the new location had been planned all along. We are still in awe of our pictures!

Having been in the fashion industry for 6 years, my husband and I have met many photographers. When it came to choosing one to document the wedding we looked for someone that not only knew us well but that was capable of capturing not just the necessary family photos but also little moments that made our day so special. While reviewing wedding photographers, Bob's work stood well out from the rest. His pictures are very beautiful, with a unique perspective on "traditional" wedding shots that is refreshing. He truly has an eye for capturing beautiful subtleties, someone's features or gaze, or a particularly special moment that would otherwise have gone unnoticed and lost. Holy mackerel Bob. I knew Chandra was beautiful but your photos take her beauty into another dimension altogether. She looks so damn pretty I'm ashamed to be in a picture with her. In fact perhaps there should be some sort of law against it. Thank you so much for your gentle, artful approach. I spent an 18 hour day on the Deadwood set getting home around 11 last night but you'd better believe we went through every one of the photos albeit much more quickly than we will when we pick out our NUMEROUS favorites this weekend.
